UPDATE
Well, so far it's been ever so slightly confirmed that the next Ben 10 series will be named Omniverse. Even though that's the name of the MMORPG game they created. I don't know about you, but they need someone to give better titles because I'm tired of all the shitty Ben 10 names. Alien Force was ok, Ultimate Alien should have stayed Evolution, and now Omniverse? Really? By the stars I hope they change it like they did the others.

The episode is going to be called "Heroes United"

~PLOT~
The plot for the most part is unknown; however, special footage premiered in San Diego Comic Con. In the clip, Rex investigates a park, detecting something strange and sees Ben setting foot there through a portal as Humungousaur. Confusing Ben for an E.V.O., Rex battles with him across the pond to the city. Rex mentions that he will not let Ben destroy the city and, surprised that Rex does not know his identity, Ben transforms back into a human. Then, it cuts to a new scene where Doctor Holiday mentions there is something in the Bug Jar and the duo must go investigate. They accidentally put on each other's jackets with Ben questioning why his jacket smells like bananas and Rex comments how his is too tight. Bobo retorts that if Rex and Ben are their only hope, they're hopeless. Eventually, Rex and Ben will team up to face a common threat that is not known at the moment.

The Cartoon Network Action panel on Sunday of the San Diego Comic-Con made a special announcement in regards to the future of Ben 10 and Generator Rex. The production crew behind both shows were in attendance and the panel was moderated by Yuri Lowenthal, the voice of teenaged Ben Tennyson. This Thanksgiving, Ben 10 will be making a guest appearance in a special, extended episode of Generator Rex. The special will be dubbed Ben 10/Generator Rex: Heroes United. Footage was shown from the special where Ben appears to enter Rex's universe from a portal and is mistaken as an Evo monster. Rex and Ben will fight before later teaming up. Ben and his alien avatars will be drawn and animated in the Generator Rex art and animation style. One of the early parts of the footage reel also shows Rex coming up with a "theme song" that sounds a lot like the original Ben 10 theme song in the show's first season.
