Six grabbed Rex by the wrist, dragging him into an ally.

"H-hey! Six, what's your problem!?" he protested, but was attacked by, a hug?

Six had pulled him close, hugging him, and he was shaking.

"Damn it Rex, don't ever do that again." came his shuddered voice. "Please, be careful."

Rex stood there, confused, appalled, 'Please, be careful.' fluttered through his mind like a caged bird.

"I'm sorry." he couldn't help himself from whispering. His arms found themselves on his watcher's shoulders, and his face nuzzled into the crook of the man's neck.

The rain pelted them, soaking their clothes even more. Six finally let go, and started walking back to the drop ship. Leaving a dazed Rex standing there, before coming back to reality and following.

"I love you too." he whispered to himself, smiling.
